En chemin vers la forêt le weekend dernier. Seen on the way to the forest last weekend

"Pyjama day" at school. That won't keep us from chasing rabbits in the yard! Journée pyjama à l'école, ce qui ne nous empêche pas de courir après les lapins dans le jardin!

Forest walk. Discovering new trails, remembering our favorite "zig zag tree" from our walks last fall, stumbling upon a tiny snake that we thought was a worm at first, playing with pieces of bark. Perfect saturday afternoon in the forest. Super samedi dans la forêt. On retrouve l'arbre en zig zag qu'on aimait bien l'automne dernier, on joue avec des morceaux d'écorce, on tombe sur un petit serpent qu'on avait d'abord pris pour un gros ver de terre...

Première tonte. Revoilà enfin le printemps, tout doucement. First time mowing. Spring is finally back. Almost.

Time to paint Grandpa' trellis, as certain parts of the varnish are all gone already. The color on the picture looks off a little bit. Can't wait to be done. It is... a certain amount of work! Il est temps de repeindre le trellis qu'avait fabriqué Grandpa. La couleur rend mieux que sur la photo. Plus qu'à terminer. Y a du boulot!

Fun out with Mama on sunny day for Mama's birthday. Belle journée de soleil pour l'anniversaire de Maman

On fête l'anniversaire de Maman ce soir, une journée en avance, alors on cache les cadeaux qu'on a fabriqués dans une cachette en légo. Comme ça, ni vu ni connu. We're celebrating Mama's birthday tonigbt, one day in advance, and made a special hiding place out of lego for the crafts we made for her. She'll never guess.

On apprend a lire! Ouh la la ca s' accelere tout ca! Learning to read. The boys are making giant leaps these days!

(Chilly, windy and muddy) game day. Go yellow! Jour match (froid et venteux et boueux!) Allez les jaunes!

Pas la forme pour Félix qui se tape une belle grippe intestinale et passe, cette nuit, pas mal de temps sur le sol de la salle de bain. Pas rigolo pour notre petit père qui en a marre de boire de l'eau. La pédiatre conseille un petit bout de tartine demain matin. Si ça va un peu mieux, il ira encourager son frangin qui joje un match de foot.

Felix has a stomach flu. Not the best way to start the weekend. Spending a lot of time on the bathroom floor and tired being asked to drink one more sip here and there. We'll follow the doctor's advice tomorrow and have a small piece of toast. :-( 

If he gets better he might be able to go cheer for Pierre at his soccer game tomorrow.

Félix prend sa toute première leçon de piano avec Mrs Susan, dame très gentille qui habite dans le quartier. Ça se passe très bien pour l'instant et voilà qu'il va avoir des devoirs pour mercredi prochain! Felix is taking his first piano lesson with local teacher Mrs Susan who's nice and patient. He can't wait to do his homework for next week!

Brunch de Pâques entre copains avec Fisher et Kitson, puis lancer de ballon-fusées sur la pelouse. Easter brunch between friends with Kitson and Fisher, followed by a rocket balloon launches on the grass
